ULD Copenhagen:

Wool is not only practical and sustainable, but also very convenient. The many hygienic properties of wool - It’s antibacterial and antimicrobial, moisture wicking and odor resistant - leaves you with a piece of clothing that does not require regular washing. Simply leave it to air and dry outside every now and then. And when you do wash your ULD Copenhagen products, you can do it at very low temperatures.

We recommend washing at 20-30°c using the lowest spin cycle (max. 40°c).

The thin waxy coating of wool fibres contains fatty acids that inhibit the growth of mold and bacteria causing odor. It also repels water that would otherwise cause mildew and mold to grow. Static, attracting lint, dirt and dust, is inhibited by this coating too. The surface of wool fibres also block dirt and stains from being absorbed.

Long story short: wash less and wash cold. For you and the environment.
